The "haunted pool" at the motel where we stayed in Portland...

...And the most Portlandish scene imaginable, featuring TheLimey, Frinkenstein, and Argotnaut all at once.

MISTRESS OF SCIENCE! Mwah ha ha ha.
(Actually now with PhD, but Doctor of Philosophy just doesn't have the same evil ring, does it?)

There goes the theory that we're all three the same person!
I must say that that is NOT the most Portlandish scene imaginable, because the sun is shining. (And no self-respecting Portlander would admit to going to Starbucks.) It was a lovely morning, though.
I can't believe no one said anything about the carp.
You mean that's NOT the world's biggest koi pond?
I thought it was a really small hotel...
The carp appear about life size (in relative terms!). However, they were not at the hotel, but rather at the Japanese gardens, which we also visited.
I just couldn't think of anything clever to say. Was very amused, though. Flawlessly done! Perhaps not as realistic as the "Simon-walks-to-porch" video . . .
Ah, Painter 6, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways...
