I was having trouble posting to my new blog yesterday, and then today the entry showed up on this one. Blogger is weird.

You know what's really great?
I'll be able to tell my future kids that their dad is an alien. And it will be true!
(This happened to a colleague of mine whose mom is German.)
MISTRESS OF SCIENCE! Mwah ha ha ha.
(Actually now with PhD, but Doctor of Philosophy just doesn't have the same evil ring, does it?)

Having my siblings tell me that our mom was an alien was quite traumatic. It didn't help that my mom confirmed it!
Good thing I can laugh about it today!
But if we start it out as a running joke, they can never use it against each other.
