Okay, now a normal person could tell I'm showing.

Try not to look at my chin(s).

I swear it's just the angle. I blame the photographer.

I can't believe it's 16 weeks already!

And that just looks like you're sticking your non-belly out. Hm, maybe I'm in denial.

It reminds me of the TV commercial with the woman who's trying to hold her stomach in until she gets on the elevator.

I can suck it in somewhat, but it's pretty uncomfortable and not terribly convincing.

Oh yeah--you should see what it looks like when I *am* purposely sticking it out!

It actually reminds me of one of those weight loss commercials. You know, where they get a non-fat person to put on big pants and stick out their stomach to look like they have one, only to show them ten seconds later in normal pants, not sticking out their stomach. Yeah, that's what comes to mind.

Glad to hear that things are going well. So, are you going to be practicing the "silent" birth method that's all the rave this year?

If by "slient' you mean "sccreaming and swearing like a sailor," why then yes, of course.

And I'll be expecting my husband to jump up and down manically on furniture in public places, as well.

Oops...."silent." Sheesh.

...That reminds me: now I see that all the times I stuck out my stomach to see how I'd look if I were pregnant, turned out to be true to life! (It's the actual pregnancy that turned out to look fake. For now.

I'm afraid that looks like my reg'lar belly. >:(

Oh, poo. No it doesn't.

Although now you'll take a photo to prove me wrong--but you'd have to purposely be sticking it out to the utmost!

No, really, I'm about 5 pounds heavier than usual. Not much, but it makes me feel extremely blobby and my pants uncomfortable.

For no reason that I can tell, this has become nearly my most popular image on Flick'r, almost overnight. What's the appeal? (I mean, to strangers.)

It better not be anything gross.

Maybe it showed up as one of those random "Everyone's Photos" pictures.

Maybe...although the 7-week one also exploded in popularity, with about half the hits.

Guess I'll know for sure when I post the next ones.

Anyway, aren't those "everyone's photos" just the most recent ones to hit the server? I often have a few hits on most pix the second I upload them.

I've often clicked on other people's to find that the name has already changed by the time I look at it, meaning they just uploaded it and then named it.
