Okay, Canadians

One of the advantages to living in Michigan is that at least I can receive CBC (albeit poorly) with the old-fashioned rabbit ears antenna. It's almost as good as getting BBC. Particularly since we've been able to watch Dr. Who on Monday nights at 8. And we were liking this new series, a lot, too.

But it disappeared! I think the last one we saw was the episode where they went to an alternate world where whatserface's ex-BF ended up (conveniently) staying, as his grandmother was still alive there.

At first I thought it had something to do with the holidays, but the program is still gone after quite a few weeks.

What gives?!

Looks like they're scheduled to start re-running Season 1 Saturday January 20 at midnight (presumably Eastern time). No word on when Season 2 will air in Canada. Hope that's helpful (although if it's airing at midnight, I suspect this isn't helpful at all!)

Oh no, thanks, that is helpful!

I can never watch anything when it's actually aired, anyway, so I simply record the programs we like.

I see that the question I should have been asking was "When is season 2 going to run?" To which I've gotten the answer.

I hope there is a season 2...

Good news, there is a Season 2, and a Christmas special, and they're working on Season 3.

Oh, and if you don't want to wait for Season 2, you could always download it...

It does exist--yippee!

Download? I'll have to look into this. When we get back from our trip.

Since I don't watch TV, I can't help. Thank goodness you have other Cdn librarians on the job. I can offer a non-sequitur that you will enjoy, however:

A new restaurant that is about to open in Saskatoon is going to be called "Simon's British Flavours". Thought you'd dig it.
